About me
Dedicated to helping you stay focused on the results you want.

During
my 4 years of navigating the legal process to get divorced, I worked at re-framing my
own mindset which led to being successfully divorced in January
2020. Divorce is a difficult transition and making the most healthy and
positive choices are essential. Dedicated to helping others recognize
empowered decision-making, I have gathered several tools for navigating
the Business of getting Divorced with ease.
Beyond divorce I have worked at finding new ways to reconnect with my kids as well as my inner self. I fully understand that the process of healing and becoming authentic is a winding path that should be walked at your own pace.
"I have an amazing group of people in my life. Some I have known for forever and others I have met along the way. I know that I am lucky. I have not gotten here without support. During my marriage I was discouraged to lean on any support and that kept me stuck. After I left my ex I reached out. I talked as much as I could handle to anyone that would listen. I would follow whatever advice they had, making sure to check in with myself to see if it resonated with me. I asked for the court order Parenting classes, to have a Family evaluation and be assessed by a Domestic Violence Counselor. My sister researched and found a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in my town, without her expertise I would not have realized the monetary value I had added to the marriage. I found my counselor through a referral and I am ever so Thankful for her! Lastly, I have added a Parenting Coach and a program that helps alienated parents reconnect with their children, it changed the way I connect with my kids.
Even with my group, mistakes were made during my divorce. Some were simple enough to overlook, some were easily corrected and others have added, and continue to add, additional emotional and financial stress. Looking back I can see the value of adding a Divorce Coach and Consultant to my group. The expertise of having been there, what it is like once the Decree is signed and the potential pitfalls along the way. My having just come out of a toxic marriage I could not see down the road and I would have appreciated having someone in my group that could see a little farther and knew how to gently open my eyes. I want to be that help for others. I want to help others look a little farther and to avoid as many pitfalls as they can.
A Divorce Coach or Consultant is not a replacement for a Lawyer nor is it legal advice. Lawyers are very knowledgeable and have a deeper understanding of the laws in your area. However, Lawyers don't always have the time to talk through a situation or are able to see the pitfalls created by certain actions. A Divorce Coach and Consultant has the time to help you look at all the possible sides of a situation and see just a little further down the road."
